FEATURES
All the habitats are heated with in-floor heating and ethanol fireplaces for those snowy winter nights. A heated drying rack in the entry way provides a convenient way to dry your ski gear after a long day on the slopes.
Each habitat includes a self contained kitchen with microwave/convection oven, hot plate, fridge, dishwasher, kettle, toaster (and all necessary cooking utensils) – allowing for self catering (the Jindabyne Woolworths is a quick ten minute drive away to replenish supplies). There is also Weber BBQ on the deck.

Ecocrackenback is a ‘Nature Based Eco Tourism Resort’, defined by council as; “an ecologically suitable tourist accommodation with onsite waste management and attractions involving support for, enjoyment of, and education about the natural characteristics of the land on which it is located and its surrounding landscape”
The concept behind Ecocrackenback is to create luxurious holiday accommodation in the NSW Snowy Mountains whilst ensuring that the environmental impact on the area is kept to a minimum. The steps Ecocrackenback has taken to achieve this are as follows:

Ecocrackenback consists of 18 luxuriously appointed ‘habitats’ nestled amongst the snow gums on 40 acres along Alpine Way. Ecocrackenback is ideally located for you to make the most out of your Snowy Mountain ski holiday. Only 10 mins drive to Jindabyne, 20 mins to Thredbo and 10 mins to the ski tube which takes you to Perisher and Charlotte Pass.
In winter, enjoy snow sports at the nearby resorts of Perisher, Thredbo and Charlotte Pass.
In the warmer months, experience nearby activities such as horse riding, trout fishing, boating, mountain or road biking. Swim, sail, kayak or waterski on Lake Jindabyne or hike in the mountains. Walk to the highest point in Australia – the summit of Mount Kosciuszko. Eat at world class restaurants located within minutes of the resort.
