ACTIVITIES
Mix up a brew of organic coffee. We have supplied cups big enough that take two hands to hold, so you can’t multitask while drinking your coffee.
Paddle your feet in the water during summer or watch the steam off your coffee with the fog and steam of the river.
Go for a morning kayak paddle around Long Island. Pack some water – and lunch – or if lying horizontal is more your thing see if you’re able to spend the entire day in bed.
When showering you can pull the window down to shower with the elements.
All of our products are natural and you’re now living ecologically in a part of nature.
Have a scrub in the two-person tub made from a galvanised tank.
Pull the blinds open to see the birds rise with the sun on the water, or close them again and enjoy sweet nothing to fall back to sleep to.
We have a sound system in our cabin. So try a new sound or play something you used to love and let the music wash over you. Play it when you cook, shower, read a book or have a bath. Magic!
When the sun’s up it’s time to open the bifold doors to let nature in and feel the freedom.
You can watch the blinds flow with the breeze too. Grab a map, pack a picnic lunch and set off in the inflatable duck to explore the nooks of the river.
Set up the sun umbrella and lounge beanbags and share light conversation over a drink, watching the colours of the river change as the light gets long.
At night, pull the cork out of a bottle of red, listen to some music and watch the sunset beside the fire pit.
Plug your smartphone into our system to watch your latest downloaded movie or watch one of ours.
Allow yourself to be rocked to sleep and wake with the world at your fingertips. Lounge at night.

From the Owners:
“We are a team of builders, designers and members of the local community who are passionate about linking ecological innovation with boathouse ecotourism. There’s nothing better than working together to achieve great things for our planet, and our team is on a fun-filled mission to give back and pay it forward.
For those who dare to do something different, our boathouse retreats are perfect. We are committed to creating spaces to bring together likeminded people to make a difference for someone else. We have created them to appeal to a broad range of tastes, from water hobbies to mountain bike riding and everything in-between.
We only use raw materials, green products, materials that reduce our ecological footprint and make our natural environment look even better. We reckon that being inspired by nature results in a much better look and feel, and the benefit of a more affordable price too. Our approach is a streamlined method of off-site production, which allows for high level factory quality and efficiency, thereby reducing life cycle costs and keeping costs low as well.”
What we love…
Something completely different – a floating eco pod on the beautiful Murray River. When you’re in full relaxation mode, the wrap around timber deck offers sensational views directly facing the river. Grab a deck chair or big cushion, soak in the sunset and embrace the fun of river life. When the sun decides to set, you can light the fire or soak in a steaming outdoor bath. Bliss!
