Reconnecting to nature in whatever way best suits you.

The original cabin, JUDE is set in 180 acres of natural scrubland and adjacent to a conservation park boasting incredible walking trails, creeks, dams and breathtaking scenery.

In the hills, you are never far from wine, but with conservation parks nearby you can forgo the wineries and reconnect with nature. Think bushwalking, forest, creeks, waterfalls and bird watching. Expect kangaroos, drop bears, bandicoots, and other shy native animals that you won’t find in the city or the burbs. Wake up to the sound of magpies and kookaburras heralding the dawn. Gaze up at the night sky, with a warming nip in hand. Depending on the time of year, cuddle around the fire pit and talk into the long night with your loved ones. Get back to nature’s circadian rhythms.

ENVIRONMENTAL INITIATIVES

From the owner:

Living off grid means using alternative methods of waste disposal and water saving.

Please remember to reduce your electricity & water usage.

We primarily rely on rain & sun to run our CABNs! However, we always ensure batteries are fully charged and water tanks are full.

What we love…

CABN invites their guests to recharge their batteries and retreat in style by disconnecting from the tyranny of online lives with a digital detox. With a stay in one of their beautiful tiny houses in the midst of natural surroundings, guests can reconnect with the simple things that make them happiest.

Sounding Good?  Read on…

The philosophy behind Cabn is best described in the owner’s words: “Somewhere along the way, we lost touch. With ourselves and what is most important – our environment and the people in it. The realities of modern life are eroding the base of our existence. Each other.

The basic human instinct of interaction is being diminished by a society more comfortable with banter on social media than a real world encounter. We get greater satisfaction from possessions than we do from heartfelt experiences. The pursuit of ‘things’ regulates how we exist and treat others. We say enough.”
