For the family or explorer – adventures to Dubbo Western Plains Zoo, Wellington Caves, Mt Arthur National Park, or Mudgee for beautiful cafes.
For the lover of food and wine – explore beyond the property into the Mudgee wine region. From here there are many winery tours, locations for exquisite food and a chance to be in a country community experience the local produce.

“At Budgalong, conservation and restoration of the land in order to protect it for future generations underpins the values of the unique, luxury accomodation.

Integrating the lodges into wilderness, we have tried to do this with as little disruption to nature as possible, leaving space for wildlife to flourish and grow.

We are consistently striving to be more sustainably focused and integrated, by doing what we can to reduce our ecological footprint.

The tents boast Australian craftsmanship, featuring canvas sourced from Africa for durability, and interiors sourced locally for a touch of homegrown charm. The open floor plan and large windows are designed to create a connection with the surrounding landscape. King ensuite rooms provide luxurious comfort and relaxation for guests to indulge in during their stay.
