• Mountain View Rooms

All Mountain View Rooms boast a private balcony where you can relax and soak up the magnificent views. The most popular style of room, most rooms contain a queen and single bed, while family rooms also contain additional bedding for two extra guests, and two are equipped for wheelchair occupation. • Garden View Rooms

These motel style rooms feature red cedar shutters, hand crafted Queensland Maple furniture and timber queen-sized beds. All rooms have private ensuites and views of the gardens around the guesthouse. From $225 per night

• Bithongabel Single Rooms

The Bithongabel Single Rooms feature a single bed, tea and coffee making facilities, small bar fridge, private bathroom and private balcony with views to the West. Price is $163 per night.

• Two Bedroom Canopy Suites

One of the former O’Reilly family homes has been transformed into two stunning guest units. Each unit has two bedrooms, two bathrooms, a separate living room and two way fireplace. The large decks, complete with private spa bath, look out onto the rugged McPherson Ranges to the west and provide uninterrupted views of the most magical of sunsets. From $520 per night

• One bedroom Canopy Suites

Three one bedroom suites adjoin the luxuriant rainforest canopy and offer twice the space of our standard Mountain View rooms. The suites have four large balconies with spectacular views of the rainforest foliage and western mountain ranges. A spacious bedroom features a king-size four-poster bed, sofa and a warming fireplace. From $410 per night.

• Mountain Villas

O’Reilly’s Mountain Villas consist of 48 luxury, contemporary, architecturally designed villas set amongst a spectacular rainforest and mountain setting, surrounded by Lamington National Park. Each villa is fully self-contained with full kitchen and feature modern designer decor interiors opening onto expansive private decks with outdoor spa bath and BBQ. Rooms available include one, two and three bedroom villas with rainforest or valley views.

To make the most of your experience, join the nature-based rainforest activities program, the Discovery Progam. Hosted by a team of expert rainforest guides, there is a wide range to choose from such as:
– early morning bird walk to ‘meet the locals’
– interpretive guided rainforest walks through Lamington National Park to explore stands of ancient rainforest and stunning waterfalls
– 4WD bus excursions to breath-taking lookouts
– adventure activities including flying fox and giant swing
– glow worm tours, spotlighting and evening walks

Tree Top Walk. The first of its kind in the world, the famous Tree Top Walk provides a bird’s eye view of the rainforest canopy. The highest observation deck is 30 metres (110 feet) above the ground.

Energy

Since 1997, we have applied greenhouse gas strategies to all building projects and refurbishments. In most instances, this has lead to the commissioning of gas and solar services for space and water heating, however heat pumps have been found to be more efficient in some buildings.

Construction

Recycled materials are used where possible in construction of either light weight cabins or blocks of accommodation that contain significant thermal mass.

Water

The water supply at O’Reilly’s is a natural spring high in the mountains. Gravity delivers it to the Guesthouse where it is filtered through sand and then UV light treatment, to ensure that we receive high quality, chemical free water.

Wastewater

A flow-balanced tertiary treatment system sees effluent pass through primary separation and filtration before an activated sludge secondary stage. Clarification occurs prior to a tertiary sand filtration, disinfection and dispersal.
