This pine log cottage is perfect for families with children, it has 2 bedrooms, 1 queen bed and 3 singles. I bathroom with spabath and seperate shower. Laundry with washer and dryer and a complete kitchen. Beautiful setting amongst the gumtrees overlooking Lake Meadowbank. Large deck with gas BBQ.

Wedgetail Wings is a modern two bedroom , 2 bathroom house to sleep 4. Complete dishwasher kitchen, huge livingroom with tv/dvd.
Lake Meadowbank and mountain views. Peaceful and relaxing. Great for a weekend away with friends, romantic couples or small families.

Seaglenest

A gorgeous romantic hideaway for two. Private views of the lake from the BBQ deck., King bed and simple kitchenette. Large in room spa to play in. Perfect for honeymooners or popping the question!

This charming, 4 bedroom, farmhouse is set within the farmyard complex. 2 queens, 4 singles and two bathrooms. Large living room and complete kitchen. Overlooking a beautiful wetland bird sanctuary. Please note, this farmhouse is situated 3 kms away from the other 3 lakeside cottages.

THINGS TO DO

Enjoy year-round licensed fishing for salmon or trout. Explore the property to see sheep, poppies, cabbages and conservation areas. Lambs are born September to October. Farm tours and shearing demonstrations available on request between August and April.

Farm Tours: Curringa Farm is an established attraction that gives visitors a taste of life on a working sheep farm and a better understanding of wool production, sheep husbandry and cropping activities. Not only will you learn about best practice land-care and farming techniques, but it is also a charming setting for a delicious lunch for a minimum of 4 people.

Guests can also experience the following options by arrangement: BOOKINGS ARE ESSENTIAL

Farmtour (minimum 2 people)

2 hour farm tour that includes sheep shearing, working farm dogs, viewing crops in season, forest walk and morning or afternoon tea with  fresh home made scones with jam and cream. Departs approx 10.00 am

BBQ Lunch and Farm Tour (minimum  4 people)

As above, with a delicious BBQ lunch. 11.00am for approx 3 hours.

There is a very strong ecological focus on the farm with Tim and Jane receiving several awards for sustainable farm management practices over the last few years. There is an intensive tree planting and native vegetation conservation program on the farm where visitors can become involved by contributing towards our Landcare activities.

Curringa Farm is a family farming property. These 9 beautiful cottages are tucked away in peaceful seclusion, overlooking picturesque Lake Meadowbank. Set in natural bushland they are an ideal place for swimming, boating, trout fishing, or lazing in the sun.

Curringa Farm offers fully self-contained farmstay cottages near Hamilton, a one-hour drive from Hobart in central Tasmania.

Curringa Farm is a genuine 750 acre, award winning, sheep and cropping farm, where visitors can not only stay, but also see a sheep being shorn or watch farm dogs working a mob of sheep.

Your hosts Tim and Jane Parsons are 6th generation farmers in the area. Travel through their 300 hectare property to look at the farming, cropping and land care activities in the field. Enjoy organised farm tours or cook your own barbe-pack beside beautiful Lake Meadowbank, ideal for fishing and swimming.
