THINGS TO DO
Dine on the deck on fine Tasmanian gourmet and organic produce. Enjoy amazing views across the rolling farms and bushland to the Tamar River and Bass Strait by day and spectacular sunsets and starry skies by night. Awake in the morning to the sounds of birds and watch the native wildlife grazing at your doorstep. Take a short bushwalk on the property or continue up Mountain Rd to follow the Mt Arthur track to the summit (5 hrs return). Curl up in front of the wood fire with a book, DVD or music. Perhaps indulge in a glass of local wine while bathing in the outdoor tub on the deck.

Native Animals and Birdlife: Dawn and dusk are great times to observe the native animals and birdlife either from the deck at the studio or from one of the walks. The studio torch is useful for night time spotting.

Commune with the Farm Animals: Get to know the Dorper sheep and our 17 chooks.

Star Gazing: The clear skies at night are perfect for observing the stars

Relaxation Massage: Massage Therapist (on site): Relaxation massage promotes a deep sense of wellbeing, increase in circulation and relief to superficial muscle tensions and stress.

One hour relaxation massage $60.00, half hour relaxation massage $40.00

The Studio Provides: Board games, art supplies, musical instruments, books & DVDs with a Tasmanian flavour, music iPod & docking station, TV (ABC & SBS), bath on the deck.

Food: Wine,cheese and gourmet delights, some created by renown chef Daniel Alps from his gourmet food store in Launceston are available to purchase.

Fire at the Trig Point: Light a fire at the Trig Point as the sun beings to sink and the colours change with dusk decending. Open the sealed bin and discover some treats that will top off this perfect scene

This sustainable boutique accommodation is powered by its own hydro electricity and solar energy. It is only a 20 minute drive from Launceston and its pristine surroundings make it the perfect place for a rejuvenating getaway.

Recycle and repurpose with creativity and style is the mantra at the container. A recycled shipping container renovated to a luxury standard utilising local eclectic materials. A one bedroom getaway with a king size bed.
