THE ENVIRONMENT
From the Owners:
“The property features a eight year old food forest planted on swales, dripping with delicious sub tropical fruits including bananas, guava, feijoa, fig, mango, citrus and stawberries.
A chook tractoring system, no dig gardens and a chop and drop mulching system have improved the soil on this rocky ridge where there is now a productive ecosystem. Happy chickens were freeranging in a fox proof chook house reusing an old caravan.
Starting with zone 0, the solar passive designed house has been developed over the last 13 years with design features of rammed earth, light earth, mud brick with an on site grey water treatment system, solar panels and even home grown bench tops!

Eco Escape is a beautiful four bedroom house surrounded by organic gardens where guests can feed the chickens. It accommodates 8 guests: with two queen beds; one double; and two single beds. It is ideal for mature adults and families.
Eco Escape is cool in the summer and warm in the winter. Trees from our property were used to create features in the design including the beams and homegrown kitchen bench tops. Two separate living areas make it the perfect getaway for a mature group of adults or two families with a parents retreat downstairs.
Ecp Escape is just a five minute drive away from Bluey’s Beach and shops, Elizabeth Beach, Celito Beach. National Parks and the beautiful Wallis Lake are popular for water activities including fishing and water sports.
There is a private outdoor bath house, with shower, bath & toilet overlooking a garden setting.
Guests may encounter Australian wildlife on the property including kangaroos, native marsupials and an array of birdlife. Wake up to the sound of the kookaburras. On a clear night the stars will light up the sky, reconnecting you with nature.
The eight acre property is mainly eucalyptus forest with one acre of cleared land with the home and productive organic gardens.
Guests will have access to the private eight acre property and are free to have a look around the gardens at their leisure.
