Shack 14 is a self-catering property sleeping 2 – 4. No pets are allowed. All guests are asked to be sensitive to the fragile nature of bush living and to respect the property as a place of retreat and relaxation.

The shack, created by Ken Latona, a Glenn Murcutt trained architect, is rustic yet stylish. An airy space houses hessian-covered armchairs and Burmese crafts, and other stylish decorative items.

Shack 14 is a secluded retreat surrounded by scenery and is set in 10 acres of bush down a long forest path.
It has two queen-size bedrooms, a bathroom, a comfortable open-plan living space and a fully equipped stainless-steel kitchen. There is no telephone or television connection, offering a great opportunity to take time out from technology and explore the landscape.
The living room’s floor-to-ceiling glass doors reveal the beautiful bushland outside and guests can enjoy the view from the deckchair on the verandah, watching brightly coloured birds fluttering amid the trees, and the gentle valley stretching into the horizon.
