View the Mitchell River Silt Jetties from Down to Earth Farm Retreat and then take a short drive to walk along the Jetties.
Bairnsdale is a little over 10 minutes away to the west and Lakes Entrance is 25 minutes to the east.
Fish in the lakes or in any or all of the rivers – the Mitchell, Nicholson or Tambo. Travel the short distance to Bruthen and the Bullant Brewery or north from Bruthen along the Great Alpine Road towards Omeo.
There are wineries close by, orchards and weekend markets. Take a walk on the rail trail, or a cruise on the lakes.
Visit Raymond Island to see the koalas or travel to the Buchan caves. There are wonderful walks or enjoy coffee by the lake at Metung or Paynesville.

The north wall is glass, and looks over the Ironbark and Red Box trees to the Great Dividing Range. Walk up the stone stairway and take in the views towards Lakes Entrance, the Mitchell River Silt Jetties and Raymond Island.
Suitable for one or two couples, or small families, there is lots to do. There are two wineries just minutes away, or try your luck fishing the Nicholson, Mitchell or Tambo rivers – all within 10 minutes.
